Over the weekend of July 29, Comcast and the City of Alexandria presented a free three-night Outdoor Film Festival at Ben Brenman Park, benefiting the Child and Family Network Centers (CFNC). Hundreds of families watched Shrek 2, Spider-Man 2, and The Wizard of Oz, with proceeds from food sales going to CFNC programs. Alexandria Mayor William “Bill” Euille attended all three evenings. Together, the event raised nearly $4,000 for neighborhood services.
